A California State University, Long Beach initiative

The people behind Campus

Campus started on one campus, with one conviction: a student’s coursework and projects should be as findable as their job title will be in ten years.

Born at The Beach

Campus is a California State University, Long Beach initiative. It is built with CSULB students in mind first — their majors, their coursework, their commute — and grown from there.

That focus is the point. A hiring tool that tries to serve every campus at once serves none of them well. Starting at one university means the data model matches how students there actually describe their work, and local employers get results that are genuinely local.

Krishna Patel

Founder

Krishna started Campus at California State University, Long Beach after watching capable students get passed over by hiring tools that could not see past a free-text resume.

He leads the product: the structured profile model, the employer review process that keeps the marketplace trustworthy, and the commitment that Campus stays free for students.
